DAV is a nonprofit charity that provides support for veterans of all generations and their families. The program serves more than one million Veterans each year. DAV provides transportation for over 700,000 Veterans to medical appointments and helps over 300,000 benefit claims yearly. In 2015, DAV helped obtain more than $4 billion in new and retroactive benefits to care for Veterans, their families and survivor. DAV is also a leader in connecting Veterans with meaningful employment by hosting job fairs and providing resources.
