Congress Passes Bill to Increase Accountability Among VA Employees – NPR
Yesterday, the U.S. House of Representatives pass legislation that would make it easier for the Department of Veterans Affairs to terminate its employees for misconduct. The bill would also protect employees who blow the whistle on such misconduct. The Senate also passed the bill, called the Department of Veterans Affairs Accountability and Whistleblower Protection Act, and President Trump is expected to sign the bill into law. Read more.
