Paws of Freedom

The mission of the Paws of Freedom program is to improve the mental health of Veterans diagnosed with anxiety, depression, or PTSD by pairing the Veteran with a Trained companion dog.

Pups N Pals

V.A. Paws of Freedom is a partnership with our local Veterans Administration, in which qualifying Veterans are paired with companion dogs, and given to service men and women free of charge.

The Military Order of the Purple Heart

The Military Order of the Purple Heart exists to assist all veterans in working with the VA and filing claims for many benefits that are available. You do not need to be a member of the Purple Heart Organization to seek assistance. The program provides veteran’s benefits experts at various veterans’ administration regional offices, hospitals, vet centers, and state and county veterans facilities.

The VFW offers a wide range of assistance programs aimed at helping veterans of every generation. Whether that means providing free, professional help filing or appealing a VA claim, offering scholarships for post-secondary education or providing emergency financial relief when times get tough, the VFW is there for America’s veterans. VFW Department of Florida provide professional assistance in the following: filing a VA Claim, separation benefits, using education benefits, veteran’s scholarships, and financial aid.
