The U.S. Supreme Court has declined to hear a case involving the disability claim review process. In this lawsuit, a veteran complained that a Board of Veterans’ Appeals rule denied him the opportunity to challenge the competence of a doctor who denied his VA disability claim. The rule established a presumption of competence for medical personnel rendering decisions of veterans’ disability claims. Read more.
