VA Expands Mental Health Care for Vets with Less-than-Honorable Discharges – The Orlando Sentinel
Last week, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) announced that veterans with less-than-honorable discharges will be eligible to receive urgent mental health care. As many as half a million veterans have “other than dishonorable” discharges. The change came in response to the veteran suicide crisis—an average of 20 veterans a day commit suicide. Read more.
